I didn't mean to start a business. It just happened. The world of advertising and marketing is a competitive one. So much, that I felt the need to navigate away from it as a career, after investing 20 years. But, it didn't want me to. After several calls from acquaintances in my community, to the tune of "help me with Facebook," "what do we need to do to market to a specific population," "how can we generate leads," "is this TV schedule worthwhile for me"...I decided to make it official.
"Help me buy media" was my first call. I obliged. It was a side-hustle. I could use the extra money for a car payment, right? Sure. I had plenty of experience in buying and assembling all things traditional (broadcast and cable TV, print, radio, outdoor, direct mail), and at that point had been baptized by fire (or the automotive industry) in successful digital strategies, so I felt confident.
People started noticing. My business, offerings and portfolio continues to evolve. We work with some amazing media partners, and I have to tell you: I'm so proud of the company we keep!
